Dr. Rosemary Frasso (Rosie), is the MPH Program’s Director of Student Affairs, and a lecturer in the Master of Public Health Program and the School of Social Policy & Practice. Rosie is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy & Practice. Prior to coming to Penn, Rosie earned two Masters Degrees at the Harvard School of Public Health (one in Maternal Child Health and the other in Society, Human Development and Health) and she holds national Certification in Public Health (CPH). Rosie has been teaching in the public health and social work arenas for several years and was awarded The Center for Teaching and Learning's Fellowship in 2009/2010. Rosie has extensive experience in the healthcare setting, and has a clinical and administrative background. Additionally, Rosie worked for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on projects related to improving access to mammography for women with disabilities. Rosie's research interests include improving access to physical and mental health services for vulnerable populations, maternal child health, health disparities, health literacy and qualitative methodology.
